Welcome to the HOMO SARGASSUM International Symposium at the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts!

To honor the commencement of the HOMO SARGASSUM International Exhibition at FSU’s Museum of Fine Arts, and in collaboration with MoFA & the TOUT-MONDE Art FOUNDATION, this international symposium brings together Artists, Art Professionals, Scientists, and Humanities Scholars to explore the phenomenon of sargassum in the Circum-Caribbean and the ways in which a broad range of artists have engaged with it in their work.
