The Global French Lecture Series

The Global French studies lecture series focuses on research that crosses spatial boundaries to explore how cultural differences in French studies are interconnected. We are particularly interested in work that crosses time periods, places French in translingual contexts, and uses comparative methodologies to situate French literary, cultural, and artistic histories in a global frame. This lecture series contributes to the graduate program's orientation towards Global French studies and create synergies between graduate and undergraduate francophone studies at FSU.
