Event Program
The Winthrop King Institute for Contemporary French and Francophone Studies invites you to this two-day virtual event comprised of multiple elements. Since we cannot come together during this global pandemic, we decided to assemble an assortment of resources to enhance and contextualize the live events on November 5th and 6th. Be sure to check the event website and all of its contents prior to the live sessions.

Date: November 5th
- 10:00 am to 11:00 am EST: Discussion with artist Pat Masioni (in French)
- 11:00 am to 12:00 pm EST: Discussion with musician and filmmaker Baloji
- 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm EST: Discussion with author Alain Mabanckou
Date: November 6th
- 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm EST: Roundtable with Alain Mabanckou, Baloji, and Pat Masioni
The roundtable will be moderated by Dr. Bumatay and Alexis Finet with translations from French to English provided in the chat.
During all of the discussions and the roundtable, attendees may submit their questions that moderators will pose to the speakers.
