Eric MacPhail (PhD, Princeton) is Associate Professor of French at Indiana University. He is the author of The Voyage to Rome in French Renaissance Literature and of articles on Rabelais, Du Bellay, Montaigne, Cervantes, Cyrano, prophecy, astrology and antiquarianism.
