Lecture by Dr. Cloonan on New Publication Frères Ennemis

Dr. William Cloonan will betalking about his new publication Frères Ennemis, which focuses on Franco- American tensions as portrayed in the works of literature. Each French or American literary text shows the revolution/ devolution of the relations between the two nations at a particular point in time.

Dr. Cloonan, now Professor Emeritus, spent 35 years teaching French at Florida State University. He remains an active and valuable friend to the to the French program and Winthrop King Institute.
