On display at FSU’s Museum of Fine Arts (MOFA): Maam Ndeuk Daour Mbaye (2020), Ibrahima Thiam In this series of photographs, self-taught artist Ibrahima Thiam blends performance and photography to explore the potential role of a specific local Lebu divinity in today’s world. The Lebu (Lebou, Lébou) are an ethnic group from Senegal located on the Cap-Vert peninsula in and around the capital of Dakar.
